Tubular Jersey

Tubular Jersey is the foundational, cylindrical form of single jersey knit fabric produced on circular knitting machines. While sharing all the inherent properties of single jersey (softness, stretch, curl), its tubular structure necessitates specific downstream processing like tubular dyeing and slitting before most garment production. It offers advantages in efficient production and uniform dyeing for solids but requires careful slitting and handling. It is the dominant production method for high-volume, basic single jersey knits used globally in everyday apparel.
